Testimonials

Dear Ms. Soraya, Mrs. Szpyra, teachers and staff,

 March 23, 2010

I honestly do not know where to begin.

When my son started this school year he had numerous self esteem and learning issues. I was really concerned and not too sure of whether or not he would progress and catch up by the end of this school year. Having received such negative feedback from his old school, I doubted my own son’s abilities. L  Needless to say, Randy has excelled, he has friends, is motivated to do his homework and enjoys learning. He is challenged with his school work and not stressed out by FCAT pressures and is taught one on one when needed. Having the opportunity of receiving Occupational and Speech Therapy is also a plus because I used to have to rush after school to his therapy appointments. J

I have had the honor to serve as President of the PTO this school year and have met amazing families who are willing to take part on what students need to be successful in their education. I am happy that as parents we are able to work with the staff to ensure that our children succeed. Thank you, Ms. Soraya for always having your doors open when there is a question or concern. Mrs. Szpyra, I do not know how you do what you do but you have done a great job! Randy looks forward to learning and is excited to go to school.

I really like that the school also focuses on community service, encouraging our children to give back while at the same time learning about important issues in our society. I love how the Administration and Staff really care about school safety. Having an aggressive anti-bullying campaign was extremely important to me as a parent and I am very happy with its success. I love that my 7 year old is learning Spanish, Sign Language and participates in Physical Education every day. JJJSimply stated, I love everything about APA and look forward to the next 11 years in this school.  JJJ

Please feel free to have parents contact me if they want to speak to a parent from the school. I know exactly what they are feeling as I was there at this time last school year.

 Sincerely,

Ms. Soraya,

Hello there, we just wanted to say Thank you to you all at APA! We noticed the difference in Robby's attitude towards school immediately. He has been with you for 3 months & he has an entirely new outlook on school.

When we came to visit APA last October, we were at a loss. Our son had struggled with academics for the past five years. We knew that he just wasn't being giving the direction that all children deserve. As parents, we were extremely hesitant before enrolling him into "another school". The Shadow program at APA is excellent because it is a wonderful way to experience APA & allow families to feel more comfortable about their decision to enroll.

We know you are aware of some of the triumphs that our son endured everyday in other schools. And we must say, at APA the environment is not only safe & directional, but nurturing too. You guys just have a way about you. Something comforting, positive & where everyone grows!

Your Staff is an absolute pleasure & easy to communicate with, your PTO was very welcoming & all of the things you do to help these children succeed are appreciated!

Feel free to give any parent considering APA our contact info, we welcome the opportunity to share our experience because we feel every child deserves the right to learn in a safe environment where the teachers really teach!

Wishing you a successful Open House,

Shelleen & Rob Bronner

Estimada APA,
